Executive Chairman
Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. is Ajit Singh Dhingra’s brainchild, an IIT graduate and a member of MENSA. Prior to founding Prudent, he ran successful businesses, taking them to great heights by his radical approach, business acumen, and technical expertise. Ajit Singh Dhingra is a visionary and a first mover into the Indian insurance broking industry, making him an important voice of the industry. His past associations and networking have helped give direction to Prudent and build it to what it is today.
Joint Managing Director
As the head of strategy, Pavanjit Singh Dhingra is responsible for growth and direction for Prudent. His experience across various industries, strategic thinking, and positive attitude has helped Prudent grow into one of India's largest insurance brokerage firm servicing corporate accounts.
Known for inspiring and motivating people, he leads by example. He is actively involved in operational insight & foresight and overseeing tech implementations, sales, and client servicing.

Gurpal Singh Dhingra is an accomplished business leader, adept at identifying new market opportunities. His expertise in sales & marketing and zeal to undertake new business initiatives has made Prudent what it is today. His keen understanding of international business and immense experience in the industry helped him become well versed with the ethos, philosophy, and members of the WBN network. Prior to being a leader in the industry, he gained experience in service-oriented industries during his early career. Today, he continues to drive various market-leading initiatives to compete with big players, partner with some of the largest clients, and become a leader in commercial lines broking in the country.
Principal Officer & CEO
Mr. Vijay Rampal is a Stalwart in the insurance industry with over 35 years of experience, which includes serving in a PSU General Insurance Company and two renowned insurance broking companies as a Principal Officer and CEO. Vijay Rampal is a commerce graduate from Pune University. He joined Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd in March 2013. Prior to this, he was Director & CEO at Mata Insurance Advisory & Broking Services Pvt. Ltd. and was responsible for setting up their insurance broking unit. He likes to network and learn constantly.
Member - Executive Board
A graduate in Economics from Hindu College and a postgraduate from Delhi School of Economics, Ajit began his journey in the insurance industry in India in 1988. He is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and was a Gold Medallist in Bachelor of Law (LLB). He has over three decades of experience in the general insurance industry and has donned several hats at branch, division, and regional office levels. Ajit has leveraged his strong technical knowledge about risk management, insurance, and claims with an equally substantial client presence in creating a name for himself in the General Insurance Industry in India. He has improvised and added value to the largest clients from varied industries such as Oil & Energy, E Commerce, Telecom, Chem-pharma, etc. As an all-rounder in this industry, he is committed to bettering the customer experience by leveraging new age and traditional & fundamental tools of engagement as well as networking.
Member - Executive Board
Selvaraj brings with him a rich experience of 35 years in the general insurance industry, including underwriting, claims management, loss surveying, risk engineering, reinsurance, portfolio management, and marketing. He completed mechanical engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy (Anna University). He donned multiple roles such as risk engineer, branch manager, divisional manager, and deputy manager (tech) during his career, before heading underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and risk engineering lines as chief technical officer - commercial lines. He has also worked as a facultative reinsurance underwriter handling the business across various international regions.
Practice Head - Reinsurance
Rajesh is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London (ACII), Fellow ofInsurance Institute of India (FIII) and has completed an Advanced Diploma in Management. He is the recipient of Boleslaw Monic prize for Reinsurance and the Graham Miller prize awarded by ACII. He is also a visiting faculty at the National Insurance Academy, Pune and Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. With 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, Rajesh has spent 16 years with GIC Re, predominantly in underwriting international treaties and facultative businesses.
Compliance Officer
Bhavik brings a rich experience of over 16 years in compliance, audits, operations, quality assurance, and team management. At Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., he supports businesses, processes, and structures to mitigate risk, streamlines businesses, and create robust systems. He aligns regulations and standards set by the regulatorsto assure broker regulations are adhered to by all the employees of the company. He also conducts due diligence on processes to streamline them and stay in sync with the regulatory requirements.
Chief Information Officer
Manoj Kern is a result driven Digital Transformation Leader with over 18 years of experience in operations, data management, risk, and security, claims and IT management within the insurance sector. He is Master' in Business Administration in banking & insurance and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India, Delhi (AIII) and holds relevant certifications such as Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA, USA, ISO 27001, 9001,ISO 19011.Manoj has developed comprehensive security & privacy frameworks, methodologies, and programs to protect information assets and ensure secure corporate and partner resources. He has been instrumental in developing new policy and standards that were deployed throughout the firm, as well as launching innovative solutions in risk and security. As the CIO of Prudent, his visionary ability and goal-oriented behavior has enabled the organization to quickly covert business requirements into solution offerings. Manoj is well connected within the CIO fraternity and has several industry recognition and accolades.
